– Virginia receives a one year planning grant for
strategic planning for development of an Exchange

April 2011
– HB 2434 sets intent of the General Assembly to plan
for the creation and operation of a health benefit
exchange

October 2011
– Recommendations/Options on Exchange were
presented to Governor and to General Assembly for
consideration.
